This was stated by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Viktoriia Blazhko<\/span><\/span>, Head of Editorial Content and Analytics at <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">ASAP Agri<\/span><\/span>, in a comment to <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Latifundist.com<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"902\">Between the 2023\/24 and 2024\/25 seasons, the United States increased corn shipments to the EU by 6.5 million tonnes, while Ukraine reduced exports by 7.5 million tonnes. The sharpest decline in Ukrainian supplies was recorded in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Italy<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Netherlands<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Portugal<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"904\" data-end=\"1316\">At the same time, in 2025\u20132026 the United States secured its presence in several markets through trade agreements with fixed volumes and the removal of barriers \u2014 notably in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Japan<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">South Korea<\/span><\/span>, and countries of Southeast Asia. In the EU, a framework agreement on \u201cbalanced trade\u201d is also creating more favorable conditions for American suppliers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1442\">According to Blazhko, the current changes show signs of a structural shift in trade flows rather than seasonal fluctuations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1748\">The only major market where Ukraine is currently expanding exports and facing little competition from the United States remains <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Turkey<\/span><\/span>.
