According to data from the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), worldwide chip sales in November rose 29.8% year-on-year in value terms to a record $75.3 billion. Compared with October, sales increased by 3.5%.

SIA noted that November was the most successful month on record in terms of semiconductor revenue. Sequential growth in demand was recorded across all product categories. If this momentum continues, total industry revenue could reach $1 trillion for the year or come very close to that level.

Regionally, the association traditionally highlights five major markets: the Americas, Europe, Japan, China, and the Asia-Pacific region plus other countries. The Asia-Pacific region and other markets posted the strongest sequential revenue growth, up 5%. China ranked second with 3.9%, while the Americas increased revenue by 3% to $23.99 billion, maintaining leadership in total sales volume.

The European market grew by 1.2% in November, while Japan remained essentially flat, recording a marginal 0.1% decline in revenue.

On a year-on-year basis, the Americas and China competed closely in terms of revenue growth. In the Americas, chip sales rose 23% to $23.99 billion, while in China they increased 22.9% to $20.23 billion, leaving China in third place. The Asia-Pacific region and other countries led in annual growth rates, posting a 66.1% increase, although in absolute revenue ($22.33 billion) it trailed the Americas.

[9
["post-150966","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti
["GET
