More than UAH 88 billion was transferred to defense needs over the year, the NBU reported.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"517\">Overall, since the start of Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, nearly UAH 146.8 billion has been credited to the NBU\u2019s special account.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"830\">Funds came from Ukrainian citizens and businesses as well as from the international community, including contributions from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, France, Canada, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Lithuania, and many other countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"1084\">More than UAH 125 billion (in equivalent terms) was received from abroad in foreign currencies, including U.S. dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Canadian dollars, Chinese yuan (renminbi), Japanese yen, Swiss francs, Polish zloty, and Australian dollars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1235\">Last year, the NBU transferred over UAH 88 billion from the special account to defense needs, including nearly UAH 26 billion in December 2025 alone.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1353\">Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, more than UAH 122.6 billion has been transferred to support defense.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1654\">The largest allocations were directed to the Defense Procurement Agency (over UAH 69.39 billion), the Ministry of Defense (over UAH 36.66 billion), the State Service of Special Communications (over UAH 8.17 billion), the National Guard (UAH 1.65 billion), and the National Police (UAH 1.65 billion).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1740\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">As of January 1, 2026, the balance on the special account exceeded UAH 24.7 billion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":150931,"menu_order":0,"template":"","newscat":[9],"newstag":[],"issues":[],"class_list":["post-150930","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/150930","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/150931"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=150930"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"newscat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newscat?post=150930"},{"taxonomy":"newstag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newstag?post=150930"},{"taxonomy":"issues","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/issues?post=150930"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
