This comes ahead of a virtual OPEC+ meeting scheduled for January 4. Analysts expect OPEC+ to keep production levels unchanged in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1466\">For 2025 as a whole, Brent and WTI posted annual declines of nearly 20%\u2014the steepest since 2020.
