According to her, investments in AI have been one of the factors that have pleasantly surprised economists in recent times.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"618\">This assessment was also confirmed by OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, who said earlier this week that spending on AI has risen sharply. According to him, this is supporting the economy and partially offsetting the negative effects of trade uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"620\" data-end=\"908\">Lagarde emphasized that activity in the AI sector goes far beyond the public sector.
