This was announced by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on social media platform X.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"333\" data-end=\"560\">EU countries agreed to freeze \u20ac210 billion in Russian assets for an indefinite period. The decision will no longer require renewal every six months. It was adopted with 25 votes in favor, while two countries did not support it.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"873\">\u201cWe are sending Russia a clear signal: as long as this brutal war of aggression continues, the costs for Russia will only increase.
