As Carscoops reports, Ford has announced three new recalls.

The first is a large campaign involving 108,762 Ford Escape crossovers from model years 2020–2022 and 2025. The issue is simple—almost humorous: the decorative rear-door hinge covers may be poorly secured and could fall off.

In real-world terms, this means the plastic piece might detach in a parking lot, fly off while driving, or get “lost” somewhere at a car wash. Dealers will inspect the fasteners and install improved retainers if necessary.

A similar situation affects 11,852 Lincoln MKT vehicles from 2016–2019, which Ford is also recalling. Here, too, a piece of plastic trim on the B-pillar may detach.

Separately, the company announced a third, very small-scale recall: just six vehicles — the 2026 Ford Explorer, 2026 Mustang, 2026 Lincoln Corsair, and 2025 Maverick.
These cars may have a defective cylinder head, which could cause plug failures and an engine oil leak.

[9
["post-150735","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti
["GET
