President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed Decree No. 860\/2025, enforcing the National Security and Defense Council\u2019s decision to apply sanctions against 56 maritime vessels.<\/p>\n
It is stated that these vessels illegally entered Ukrainian ports temporarily occupied by Russia during 2022\u20132025 and exported Ukrainian agricultural products.<\/p>\n
\u201cAmong them are vessels that loaded thousands of tons of stolen Ukrainian wheat, sunflower seeds, and other agricultural goods in the closed ports of Sevastopol and Feodosia, which are temporarily occupied by Russia, and transported them abroad. In addition, a significant number of these vessels are already under sanctions imposed by other countries, including the European Union, the United States, and Switzerland,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n
It is noted that the vessels sailed not only under the Russian flag: 17 of them operated under the flags of other countries.<\/p>\n
Ukraine will work with the relevant states to ensure that licensing for these vessels is discontinued.<\/p>\n
\u201cUkraine will continue to increase pressure on Russia in all possible directions and closely synchronize its decisions with partners in order to force the aggressor state to end the war it launched against our country and its people,\u201d the press service assured.<\/p>\n
The list of vessels subject to sanctions is included in the annex to the published decree.
