Up to 20 people can participate in one group chat. Personal settings and memory remain private for each user.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"837\">To start a group chat, a user must click the icon and add participants directly or by sending them a link. All participants will be prompted to create a profile. Adding a new participant creates a new conversation, leaving the original chat unchanged.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"991\">In ChatGPT group chats, users can coordinate trips, write documents, conduct joint research, while ChatGPT helps search, summarize, and compare options.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1235\">According to OpenAI, ChatGPT understands when to step in and when to remain silent during a group conversation. Users can tag ChatGPT to receive a response.
