This was reported by the Associated Press.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"502\">The decision was made following \u201cconstructive\u201d negotiations with Chinese authorities over a dispute that had been disrupting global automotive component supply chains.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"682\">Dutch Economy Minister Vincent Karremans stated on Wednesday that suspending the intervention in Nexperia\u2019s governance is a gesture of goodwill while talks with Beijing continue.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"948\">The Dutch government took control of Nexperia on September 30, citing national security concerns and \u201cserious governance deficiencies.\u201d Officials said they aimed to prevent the loss of critical technological know-how that could threaten Europe\u2019s economic security.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"1204\">Authorities\u2019 main concern was the possibility that the company could move operations to China. The decree allowed the government to block or overturn decisions made by Nexperia\u2019s management if they were deemed harmful to Europe\u2019s component supply chains.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1380\">In response, Beijing imposed an export ban on several components manufactured by Nexperia in China on October 4.
