Bloomberg reports this, citing data from industry analytics firm Rystad Energy AS.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"557\">Chinese imports of Russian seaborne crude may drop by 500,000\u2013800,000 barrels per day this month, or about two thirds of the normal level. Meanwhile, imports from Iran may decrease by 200,000\u2013400,000 barrels per day, or roughly 30%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"751\">Large state-owned refiners in China have suspended purchases of ESPO crude, which makes up the bulk of China\u2019s imports from Russia, following U.S. sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"753\" data-end=\"923\">Washington\u2019s sanctions have also affected the Rizhao oil terminal, which handled around 10% of China\u2019s crude imports. This has further restricted flows from Iran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1203\">Some private Chinese refineries\u2014which are normally more tolerant of risk when it comes to purchasing \u201csensitive\u201d oil\u2014are also avoiding Russian crude.
