This time, five Indian companies declined to buy Russian oil for December deliveries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"612\">The shift in procurement policy comes after the introduction of Western sanctions targeting major Russian oil producers Rosneft and Lukoil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"739\">According to data from Kpler, these five companies accounted for two-thirds of India\u2019s Russian oil imports in 2025:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"930\">\n<li data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"772\">\n<p data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"772\">Reliance Industries Ltd.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"811\">\n<p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"811\">Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"847\">\n<p data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"847\">Bharat Petroleum Corp.
