The change will apply to staff not involved in core production \u2014 primarily administrative personnel, Russian media reported, citing the company\u2019s press service.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"297\" data-end=\"660\">The company described the decision as \u201cdifficult but necessary\u201d to maintain operational stability. Employees will be offered opportunities for professional training during the shortened work schedule, which is expected to remain in effect until May 31, 2026. However, some workers have complained that they have already been left without work since October.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"1183\">The enterprise, which accounts for about 90% of titanium production in Russia, has recently been operating below capacity. Following the end of cooperation with Boeing and a reduction in aviation component orders, the company\u2019s production volumes and profits have fallen sharply. In the first six months of 2025, VSMPO-Avisma\u2019s revenue dropped to 49.33 billion rubles compared to 59.61 billion rubles a year earlier. Net profit plunged nearly sixfold \u2014 from 12.39 billion to 2.14 billion rubles.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1485\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The move to shorten the workweek has become a broader trend among major Russian enterprises.
