According to E4m, the company is already forming an internal advertising team led by Fidji Simo, the new head of applications. She joined last month after serving as CEO of Instacart and head of the Facebook app.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"425\" data-end=\"880\">Simo is actively searching for a senior executive to oversee OpenAI\u2019s monetization strategy, including advertising and subscriptions. It is reported that she has already held talks with several candidates. At the same time, the company has opened positions for technical specialists, including a Growth Paid Marketing Platform engineer\u2014indicating plans to build advertising tools, integrate with major networks, and launch real-time attribution systems.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"882\" data-end=\"1210\">The market potential is enormous: ChatGPT has about 700 million users worldwide, but only 20 million of them have paid subscriptions. Although OpenAI generated $12.7 billion in revenue in 2025\u2014three times more than in 2024\u2014its expenses still exceed profits. That is why advertising may become a key driver of financial growth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1435\">However, the company emphasizes that integration will proceed cautiously.
