Meanwhile, Stellantis posted sales growth in the region for the first time in over a year\u2014the first positive result since February 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"881\">Total registrations in the EU, the UK, and EFTA countries rose to 800,000 vehicles in August. Volkswagen and Renault sales increased by 4.8% and 7.8%, respectively, while Stellantis gained 2.2%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"1278\">Tesla, on the other hand, lost 36.6% of its EU sales, reducing its market share to 1.2% from 2% a year earlier. In contrast, BYD boosted sales by 201.3%, securing a 1.3% share of the European market.
