Since the beginning of the year, the brand has sold more than 570,000 cars, up 8.4% from 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"343\" data-end=\"622\">The most successful model was the Kia Sportage, which sold 18,023 units in August, setting a record for the crossover. Strong results were also posted by the Telluride (12,177 units, +19%), Carnival (6,522 units, +29%), and the K5 sedan (6,847 units, +13%).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"1072\">Not all models are showing growth, however. Sales of the K4\/Forte, Seltos, and Sorento dipped slightly in August, though year-to-date figures remain positive. Electric vehicles remain the brand\u2019s biggest challenge: while the EV9 had its best month ever with 2,679 units sold (+12%), overall EV sales are trailing last year\u2019s results.
