{"id":150232,"date":"2025-09-09T15:00:31","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T12:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=150232"},"modified":"2025-09-07T14:35:39","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T11:35:39","slug":"vlasnyk-pornhub-otrymav-5-mln-shtrafu-cherez-dytyache-porno","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/vlasnyk-pornhub-otrymav-5-mln-shtrafu-cherez-dytyache-porno\/","title":{"rendered":"Pornhub Owner Fined $5 Million Over Child Pornography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"114\" data-end=\"391\">Aylo, the parent company of Pornhub, will pay $5 million to the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the state of Utah over allegations that it knowingly hosted content depicting child sexual abuse and non-consensual videos, The Washington Post reported, citing the FTC.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"619\">According to Christopher MuFarregi, director of the FTC\u2019s Bureau of Consumer Protection, \u201cPornhub operators turned a blind eye to videos depicting child sexual abuse on their sites in order to profit from this exploitation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"716\">Aylo owns more than 100 adult photo and video streaming sites, including Pornhub and YouPorn.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"982\">In their complaint, the FTC and the state of Utah alleged that Aylo misled users by claiming to have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, while in reality it failed to review flagged videos and allowed past offenders to continue uploading new content.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1135\">The FTC noted that until December 2020, anyone could upload pornographic videos, and Aylo even promoted content tied to themes such as \u201cyoung girls.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1320\">In October 2022, Aylo began blocking users from creating new accounts under the same name or email address, but it did not stop them from uploading content through different emails.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1481\">The company has now committed to stricter consent and identity verification rules for performers, as well as removing old content that violates its policies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":150233,"menu_order":0,"template":"","newscat":[9],"newstag":[],"issues":[],"class_list":["post-150232","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/150232","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/150233"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=150232"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"newscat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newscat?post=150232"},{"taxonomy":"newstag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newstag?post=150232"},{"taxonomy":"issues","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/issues?post=150232"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
