The decision is linked to a strategic review of the company\u2019s EV roadmap and efforts to streamline its lineup.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"537\">Despite earlier plans to facelift the EQE in 2025 \u2014 including the switch to an 800V system, new inverters, and eATS2 electric motors \u2014 only the flagship EQS range will undergo this upgrade.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"539\" data-end=\"916\">Currently, the EQE sedan is built at the Bremen plant in Germany, while the EQE SUV is produced in Tuscaloosa, USA. Both models will gradually be replaced by the upcoming C-Class EQ and GLC EQ, built on the next-generation MB.EA-M platform with 800-volt architecture. The new models promise improved space, higher practicality, and chassis technology on par with today\u2019s EQE.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"1147\">Mercedes-Benz has not officially confirmed the end of EQE production, but the company is already working on its successor \u2014 the all-electric E-Class EQ.
