{"id":150203,"date":"2025-09-04T15:00:20","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T12:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=150203"},"modified":"2025-09-02T21:23:33","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T18:23:33","slug":"naczbank-obmezhyv-diyalnist-finansovyh-kompanij","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/naczbank-obmezhyv-diyalnist-finansovyh-kompanij\/","title":{"rendered":"National Bank Restricts Activities of Financial Companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"118\" data-end=\"309\">The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has imposed restrictions on financial companies engaging in activities not related to the provision of financial services, the NBU press service reported.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"599\">According to the resolution, a financial company may conduct other types of business activities only if the income from such activities does not exceed 20% of the company\u2019s total income. The assessment will be carried out based on reporting data as of July 1 and January 1 of each year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"911\">The NBU explained that this measure is intended to strengthen the stability of the non-banking financial market and falls within the regulator\u2019s supervisory mandate. The resolution also improves approaches to assessing the financial standing of significant shareholders in non-banking financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1126\">The resolution comes into effect on September 3, 2025.
