{"id":150128,"date":"2025-08-22T15:00:36","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T12:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=150128"},"modified":"2025-08-20T23:01:45","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T20:01:45","slug":"v-ukrayini-skorotylosya-vyrobnycztvo-agroprodukcziyi-na-ponad-18","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/v-ukrayini-skorotylosya-vyrobnycztvo-agroprodukcziyi-na-ponad-18\/","title":{"rendered":"Agricultural Production in Ukraine Falls by Over 18%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"124\" data-end=\"310\">The volume of agricultural production in Ukraine decreased by 18.5% in January\u2013July 2025 compared with the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Service (Derzhstat).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"381\">The decline was primarily driven by a reduction in crop production.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"411\">Key reasons cited include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"559\">\n<li data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"447\">\n<p data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"447\">seasonality of crop production;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"559\">\n<p data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"559\">unfavorable weather conditions, which delayed the harvesting of grain and oilseed crops and reduced yields.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"835\">According to estimates, the agricultural production index since the beginning of the year stood at 81.5% compared to January\u2013July 2024. By category, crop production suffered the most, falling to 74.5%, while livestock production proved more stable, with an index of 95.3%.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"1067\">The downturn hit agricultural enterprises particularly hard, where production fell to 77.7% of last year\u2019s level over the seven months. Household farms showed stronger resilience, maintaining 89.7% of the previous year\u2019s output.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1069\" data-end=\"1186\">The steepest declines were recorded in Khmelnytskyi region (46.3% of last year\u2019s level) and Donetsk region (47.8%).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1458\">At the same time, some regions demonstrated growth in agricultural output. In particular, Zaporizhzhia, Zakarpattia, and Odesa regions exceeded last year\u2019s figures.
