Moreover, until the mid-20th century, the Dolyna salt plant was one of the city&#8217;s largest enterprises.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"720\">\u201cWork is now in full swing to restart salt production. These are not just promises \u2014 concrete steps are being taken: an active project is underway to develop the Dolyna deposit, including a thorough environmental impact assessment,\u201d Dyriw said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"864\">The project for the future salt plant is being developed by experts from the State Research and Design Institute of Basic Chemistry (NIOCHIM).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"992\">In 2023, a special license for extracting rock salt (halite) was awarded to the Kharkiv-based company Planeta Komfort LLC.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1277\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\u201cReviving salt production in Dolyna is not just an economic project. It is a symbol of renewal \u2014 a return to historical roots and the opening of new opportunities for the region.
