{"id":149971,"date":"2025-07-24T15:00:57","date_gmt":"2025-07-24T12:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=149971"},"modified":"2025-07-22T20:54:21","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T17:54:21","slug":"sud-u-gaazi-skasuvav-aresht-aktyviv-gazpromu","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/sud-u-gaazi-skasuvav-aresht-aktyviv-gazpromu\/","title":{"rendered":"The Hague Court Lifts Asset Seizure from Gazprom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"105\" data-end=\"302\">The District Court of The Hague has lifted the seizure of Gazprom&#8217;s assets in two Dutch companies \u2014 Wintershall Noordzee and Gazprom International Projects B.V., according to Russian media reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"458\">The assets were initially frozen as part of lawsuits filed by Ukrainian companies seeking compensation for assets lost after Russia&#8217;s full-scale invasion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"460\" data-end=\"599\">At first, the court approved the seizure; however, it later ruled that the company is protected by the Russian Federation\u2019s state immunity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"897\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">In March 2024, Gazprom attempted to sell its assets in the North Sea. The auction included 50% in Wintershall Noordzee and 100% in Gazprom International UK Limited, which holds shares in the Sillimanite and Wingate field development consortia.
