This was reported by Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>According to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a faulty fuel pump can reduce the flow of fuel from the tank to the engine, causing it to stall and increasing the risk of an accident.<\/p>\n<p>In total, Ford Motor is recalling 850,318 cars in the US. This recall applies, in particular, to certain models of Lincoln Aviator, F-150 trucks and Mustang cars.<\/p>\n<p>According to NHTSA estimates, 10% of vehicles have this defect.
