The World Bank will allocate over $33 million to Kharkiv for the development of energy infrastructure, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov.<\/p>\n
\u2018This is the second stage of the RePower programme, and we were able to obtain this funding thanks to the successful implementation of the first part of the project, signed last year at the conference on Ukraine’s recovery in Berlin,\u2019 said the mayor.<\/p>\n
Terekhov specified that the funding received will make it possible to take another big step forward. The city will receive an additional 8.5 megawatts of its own generation – modern cogeneration units that will be installed in the most vulnerable areas.<\/p>\n
