From that day on, the moratorium, which has been in force since the country&#8217;s independence, has expired.<\/p>\n<p>Until January 1, 2024, the right to sell and buy land will be only for individuals (citizens of Ukraine).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Until January 1, 2024, the total area of \u200b\u200bagricultural land owned by a citizen of Ukraine may not exceed 100 hectares. This restriction does not apply to land acquired by a citizen before the entry into force of this subparagraph,&#8221; the law reads.<\/p>\n<p>From 2024, legal entities will be able to buy agricultural land, but with a limit of up to 10 thousand hectares.
