{"id":129417,"date":"2021-06-30T18:00:30","date_gmt":"2021-06-30T15:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=129417"},"modified":"2021-06-30T22:28:07","modified_gmt":"2021-06-30T19:28:07","slug":"brytaniya-zavdala-udaru-po-kryptovalyutah","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/brytaniya-zavdala-udaru-po-kryptovalyutah\/","title":{"rendered":"Britain has struck at cryptocurrencies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The British financial regulator has banned one of the world&#8217;s largest cryptocurrency exchanges Binance from trading cryptocurrencies in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The UK has struck a blow by forcing the exchange on its website and social media pages to indicate a lack of the right to work in the country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Binance shall not engage in any regulated activity without the prior written consent of the FCA,&#8221; the Office of Financial Conduct said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>However, these kingdoms may still use Binance in other jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>The regulator is tightening oversight of cryptocurrency trading, the popularity of which has risen sharply in the UK recently.<\/p>\n<p>A year earlier, Binance announced the purchase of a company regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to trade cryptocurrencies using pounds sterling and euros.<\/p>\n<p>However, since January, the regulator has required all companies involved in cryptocurrency to register and comply with anti-money laundering rules.<\/p>\n<p>So far, five companies have registered, most of which still do not comply with the requirements of the British authorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":129418,"menu_order":0,"template":"","newscat":[9],"newstag":[],"issues":[],"class_list":["post-129417","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","newscat-novosti"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/129417","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/129418"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=129417"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"newscat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newscat?post=129417"},{"taxonomy":"newstag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/newstag?post=129417"},{"taxonomy":"issues","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/issues?post=129417"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
