Finally, the NBU resumed interventions on the interbank market after a two-month break in early April. The last time the NBU sold currency on the interbank market in mid-March.<\/p>\n
The NBU’s entry into the interbank market is associated with a sharp strengthening of the hryvnia exchange rate on the interbank market. Over the past week, the dollar fell from 27.50 to 27.25 hryvnia per dollar.<\/p>\n
In total, since the beginning of the year, the NBU has bought $ 230.5 million on the interbank market and sold $ 70 million.
