Apple employees opposed the corporation’s new rule, which requires them to work from the office at least three days a week from the fall. Verg, citing a letter from employees to the head of the corporation Tim Cook, reported this.<\/p>\n
The letter refers to the refusal of many employees to return to the office. The appeal states that some employees have already been forced to write a letter of resignation.<\/p>\n
“Many of us feel we have to choose between our families, our well-being and the opportunity to do our best and be part of the Apple team,” the letter said.<\/p>\n
Apple employees emphasize that last year they successfully performed their duties outside the office.<\/p>\n
They also drew Cook’s attention to the difference in the views of the company’s management and staff on remote work.<\/p>\n
The message that “many of us want to meet with colleagues in the office in person seems insulting and devalued,” the authors of the letter said.<\/p>\n
On June 2, it became known about Cook’s letter to employees, in which he wrote about the feasibility of working from the office a few days a week.
