NBU data from Friday, May 21 testify to it.<\/p>\n<p>The total income of banks in January-April reached 80.103 billion hryvnias, expenses &#8211; 62.565 billion hryvnias.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, interest income amounts to UAH 51.421 billion, expenses &#8211; UAH 16.913 billion, commission income &#8211; UAH 26.858 billion, commission expenses &#8211; UAH 10.029 billion.<\/p>\n<p>In January-March, banks received UAH 10.9 billion in net profit, which is 32% less than in the same period last year, when the banking sector earned more than 16 billion.
