Last year, DTEK’s largest energy holding company of Rinat Akhmetov did not allow representatives of the State Inspecyorate to inspect dozens of times last year, while some indicators of TPP are several times higher than normal. The chairman of inspection Andrey Malovany told about it in interview for Oilpoint.<\/p>\n
According to him, now, according to the law, failure to inspect the facility ends with a fine of 760 hryvnias.<\/p>\n
“The company pays it, and that’s the end of the inspection,” Malovany added.<\/p>\n
Among the companies that allow inspections are Darnytska CHP (which has not launched inspections since 2015), DTEK Vostokenergo, and Centerenergo.<\/p>\n
According to the head of the eco-inspection, up to UAH 1 million in losses can be calculated in one day of inspections at Prydniprovska TPP (DTEK).<\/p>\n
“They do not work according to the norms of even our legislation. The limit for dust is 80 mg per cubic meter, for European – 50 mg. They can reach 160-180 mg of dust per cubic meter on one boiler,” Malovany explained.<\/p>\n
For non-admission, the inspectorate can also involve law enforcement officers: now more than 500 criminal cases have been opened on the statements of the DEI, and in all cases, a statement is being written to the National Police.<\/p>\n
Malovany added that the Verkhovna Rada has registered a bill \u21163091, in which the amount of the fine for non-admission depends on four categories of enterprises according to the level of risk. Thus, for the highest degree of risk, a fine of 1.5 million hryvnias is imposed for non-admission.
