The asset growth inevitably accompanies any, even insignificant, success of drug manufacturers. And the pandemic period has caused an unprecedented wave of investments in the pharmaceutical business. Due to Dmytro Shymkiv\u2019s explanation, the head of the Boards of Directors of Darnytsia Group, investors are enticed by rather the pharmaceutical industry\u2019s innovativeness than pharmaceutical factories\u2019 products.<\/p>\n

Moderna, whose Covid-19 vaccine is 94.5% effective, sold its shares three times when its price was increasing. Novovax shares rose 20% within an hour after the news that their vaccine was 96% effective. The innovativeness of these companies allowed them to develop a protecting drug against coronavirus in an unprecedentedly short time frame. At the same time, Dmytro Shymkiv clarifies that the consistent implementation of new technologies is the prerogative not only of such global leaders in the pharmaceutical business as Moderna, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson.<\/p>\n
The innovative process in Darnytsia is rooted in the company’s DNA code and runs non-stop, moving simultaneously in all directions: from development and production to the staff. According to the head of the Board of Directors of Darnytsia, such a business approach has allowed this drug manufacturer to annually sell the largest volume of products among all existing Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies. Due to this, Ukrainians practically did not feel a lack of medicine last spring during the hype caused by the outbreak of Covid-19. Though, most other countries experienced a severe shortage of medicine for not having their own drug production.<\/p>\n
Dmytro Shymkiv notes that constant work on improving technologies allowed the Darnytsia factory to be one of the first in Ukraine to gain a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) quality certificate, which enabled Darnytsia Group to enter the European and global pharmaceutical market.<\/p>\n
According to Shymkiv, the coronavirus crisis has radically changed the direction of pharmaceutical corporations\u2019 development. It made them ponder on preventive medicine.
