He became the best in the history of the Swedish automaker.<\/p>\n<p>Total sales for this period reached 185,698 cars, compared to 131,889 cars for the same period last year. Compared to the first quarter of last year, in Europe and the United States, the company was able to improve sales, overcoming the long-term effects of the pandemic. China has now coped with the effects of the pandemic, which reached its peak in the first quarter of 2020, &#8211; said a statement.<\/p>\n<p>During March, Volvo sold 75,315 cars worldwide, up 62.3% from the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>It is noted that Volvo&#8217;s line of cars called Recharge, which consists of fully electric cars or plug-in hybrid models, accounted for 26% of all sales.
