{"id":127748,"date":"2021-03-18T17:00:02","date_gmt":"2021-03-18T15:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/?post_type=news&#038;p=127748"},"modified":"2021-03-18T14:30:22","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T12:30:22","slug":"amku-oshtrafuvav-tedis-ukrayina-na-274-miljony-gryven","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ldaily.ua\/en\/news\/novosti\/amku-oshtrafuvav-tedis-ukrayina-na-274-miljony-gryven\/","title":{"rendered":"The AMCU fined Tedis Ukraine 274 million hryvnias"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, March 17, the Antimonopoly Committee decided to fine the distributor of tobacco products Tedis Ukraine 274.2 million hryvnias, the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine reports.<\/p>\n<p>The reason for this decision was the company&#8217;s failure to fully implement the decision of the committee from 2016 (paragraph 4 of Article 50 of the Law on Protection of Economic Competition).<\/p>\n<p>The AMCU reminded that on December 16, 2016, the decision \u2116551-r was made, according to which from 2013 to September 2015 (inclusive) Tedis Ukraine held a monopoly position in the cigarette distribution market and violated the legislation on protection of economic competition in the form of abuse monopoly position.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the company was fined more than UAH 431 million.
