As part of the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the UAE, Ukroboronprom signed agreements and contracts with Tawazun Economic Council and EDGE Group to expand military-technical cooperation totaling more than $ 1 billion. The president’s office reports.<\/p>\n
It is noted that the agreement with EDGE on military and technical cooperation will allow the exchange and development of advanced technologies.<\/p>\n
“EDGE places a strong emphasis on joint development and cooperation. The signing of this tripartite agreement demonstrates our intention to work with leading international companies in the defense industry. We are delighted with the opportunities for the UAE and Ukraine to cooperate, exchange and benefit from the military and technical capacity of the two countries,” said EDGE CEO and Managing Director Faisal Al Bannaya.<\/p>\n
The OP also reports on Zelensky’s meeting with business representatives who have joint projects with the UAE in the field of energy, education, new technologies in the town of advanced environmentally friendly technologies Masdar City.<\/p>\n
The President stressed that in fact Ukraine as a state has taken responsibility for these businesses and their development in the UAE. He noted that he had a warm and productive meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Both countries are exploring opportunities to expand and strengthen contacts.<\/p>\n
“We will protect Ukrainian business, it is very important for us. However, Ukrainian business must also support and protect their country.
