The amount of investments is not disclosed. In October, Bloomberg reported that Tokopedia was going to raise about $ 350 million from Google and Temasek.<\/p>\n<p>This is Google&#8217;s second investment in the Indonesian unicorn. In 2018, the company invested in its subsidiary company Gojek. It is a service that provides taxi services, delivers food, makes digital payments.<\/p>\n<p>According to documents submitted to the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights on November 4, Google owns 1.6% of Tokopedia and its subsidiary Temasek, Anderson Investments, owns 3.3%. Shares of Tokopedia owned by Google are valued at Rs 16.7 billion ($ 1.1 million) and shares owned by Anderson Investments at Rs 33.4 billion ($ 2.2 million).<\/p>\n<p>The Google deal is the technology company&#8217;s third U.S. investment in a major Indonesian player this year.
