International rating agency S&P Global Ratings forecasts the hryvnia exchange rate at 29.5 per dollar by the end of 2021. This is stated in the review of the agency.
At the same time, in 2022 the hryvnia exchange rate is projected as 30 per dollar, in 2023 – 30.5 hryvnias per dollar. and at the end of 2024 – 31 UAH per dollar.
Inflation this year is projected at 7.7%, in 2022 – 5.5% and in 2023 and 2024 – 5%.
GDP growth this year is expected at 4%, next year – 3.5%, in 2023 and 2024 – 3%.
Nominal GDP, over the years, respectively, is projected at 156 billion dollars, 165 billion, 176 billion and 187 billion.
Unlike many other European countries, Ukraine’s GDP was relatively resilient to the global pandemic last year, as the service sectors most at risk from social distancing (arts, entertainment, leisure, retail, housing and catering) account for about 2 % of GDP.
