The Commercial Court of Odessa region initiated a bankruptcy proceeding of the Odessa oil-and-fat production Plant, one of the largest oil and fat enterprises of Ukraine. According to the information of the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market the application of instituting proceedings was filed by Lenintal Ltd. (Odessa region).
The reason for initiation of the bankruptcy of the emitent is the requirements of the creditor to pay off the debt in the amount of 501.809 thousand UAH. Odessa oil-and-fat production Plant manufactures and distributes industrial and consumer market margarines, cooking, confectionery fats, sunflower oil and mayonnaise under the trade name “Sonyachna dolyna”.
In 2014, the company reduced the net loss by 8.4% to 123.019 million UAH. Company’s net income increased by 6% – up to 71 million UAH, gross profit more than doubled to 14.965 million UAH.
At the hearing in the court the representative of the debtor affirmed the insolvency of Odessa oil-and-fat production Plant. The Court examined the candidates and appointed the executor of the estate of PJSC Odessa oil and fat plant – an arbitration manager.
Odessa oil-and-fat production Plant is one of the leaders of the oil and fat industry of Ukraine, in particular, the Sonyachna Dolyna products. “The company was founded in the early twentieth century, and more than a dozen years, manufactures and distributes industrial and consumer market margarines, cooking, confectionery fats, sunflower oil and mayonnaise”, – said in a historical note published on the website of the company.
The decision to start the procedure of bankruptcy of Odessa oil-and-fat production Plant published in the Unified State Register of judgments.
