: What are the main indicators for the first half of the 2019?

D. Treis: Elections.

: How employees influence the company’s success? What tools do you use to monitor the employees’ efficiency? What are you doing with those who are not much involved in the process? Do you help them to find inner motivation?

D. Treis: It is crucial to have engaged employees. We measure work performance where it is possible, also personal conversations help to understand how people are working. We are using bonuses and try to create a good work environment. Also, we help employees in emergency cases and in cases of illnesses in order to improve social security.

: Tell us about your plans for the next 3 years. Do you plan investing in Ukraine?

D. Treis: We are planning to increase our activities and looking for further investment in agriculture.

: What problems does your business face operating in Ukraine?

D. Treis: Corruption, low efficient state institutions, elections.

: Do you feel the changes in the business climate during the existence of the company on the Ukrainian market?

D. Treis: No, at least no substantial.

: Have you encountered corruption in your sector?

D. Treis: Yes, we have faced this problem.

: How can the change of power impact the company’s activity? What do you expect from the new power? In your opinion, should the power interfere business?

D. Treis: The new power can change the business climate in Ukraine either for the better or for the worse – we will see. Now, it seems that the new president will also get a large majority in the parliament. So, there will be no excuse if they don’t deliver the promised changes to the better.

: What, in your opinion, prevents business from fully operating on the Ukrainian market?

D. Treis: Corruption, low efficient state institutions, legal environment, elections.

: There probably were mistakes during the existence of the company. Do you work on correcting them? Who helps you in this?

D. Treis: Errors and mistakes occur almost every day. We are using internal and external resources, like consultants or lawyers, for correcting them.
